Do It Yourself (DIY)
1. Buy Your Domain from NameCheap.com, or transfer your existing domain to namecheap.com.
2. Set Your Nameservers (see screenshots tutorial of using namecheap.com)
In this step you will be taking the “Sethmatics Namerservers” listed below and submitting them to your domain on namecheap.
Please update your records and any domains to point to the following Nameservers or A records changed effective 07-26-2011.
Namerservers:
ns1.myhostnameservers.com
ns2.myhostnameservers.com
(Sometimes you only want an IP address to keep your existing email working correctly)
The hosting Server IP Address: 129.121.182.246
*Optional: You can install our security certificate so you don’t have to click the “allow” prompt when using HTTPS to login to your cPanel account: dedicated.myhostnameservers.com.crt.
*You can login securely at http://myhostnameservers.com/cpanel
Transfer Your Domain To NameCheap
We have specific instructions on how to obtain your EPP code from GoDaddy so that you can properly transfer your domain over to NameCheap.
