The Story

After using ClassiPress for years, I found it difficult to activate the clipper featured coupons slider. I found out it works a bit different then the AppThemes ClassiPress theme.  Maybe its there and I missed it, but the first thing I do NOT see is a place to turn the featured slider off…

So then I went to go make coupons (posts) sticky. Hmmm, there is no sticky on the coupons. Ok, so google it right… nothing. What the heck, its got to be something simple. Ok, ok, so what else to try. Oh wait, they have documentation! So I logged in and viewed the documentation… still nothing.

Fine, global search the code for the word “feature”… yep, found it in the meta info area. Phew, finally gotcha.

Solution in Summary

1. Edit a coupon.

2. Check the box to feature the coupon and click the “update” button to save.

3. Clipper Featured Slider activates itself upon finding the first featured coupon and show up on the homepage.
